Audette's hat trick helped the Nordiques crush the Royals 10-0

Colby Audette led the way with a hat trick as the L/A Nordiques crushed the Roc City Royals 10-0 in a home game at Androscoggin Bank Colisee in L/A. Shayne Plummer also had a big night with 5 points (2 goals, 3 assists). What's more, the L/A Nordiques' offense had a big night, peppering the Royals with 56 shots throughout the game, to go along with Michael Errico's shutout. The L/A Nordiques took the lead late in the first on a goal from Connor Kennedy and never looked back.

Sam Frechette contributed with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Crewz Berry delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Kennedy opened the scoring for L/A with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 16:58. Berry deposited a goal at 19:38 with a helper from his linemate Plummer.

In the second, Frechette put in a goal at 6:47 with helpers from his teammates Ouellette and Plummer. Audette netted a goal at 10:05 with assists from Ouellette and Ogle. Labrie scored a goal at 13:42 with assists from Chauvin and Frechette. Audette quickly followed with a goal at 15:17 with helpers from Plummer and Tehan.

In the third, Plummer deposited a goal at 8:22 with assists from Mccormick and Labrie. Audette netted a goal at 13:50 with a helper from fellow Nordiques forward Berry. Frechette quickly followed with a goal at 14:41 with helpers from his linemates, Ogle and Audette. Plummer scored a goal at 16:45 with assists from Labrie and Romano.

L/A’S victory was in no doubt helped out by Errico’s shutout, as he stopped all 25 of the shots he faced. Errico’s counterpart, Peters, also had a big night, managing to stop 25 of 31, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the L/A Nordiques’ record to (9-3-0-0).
