Chauvin's big night helped the Nordiques crush the Generals 6-2

Jp Chauvin had a big night with 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) as the L/A Nordiques crushed the Northeast Generals 6-2 in a home game at New England Sports Village in L/A. As well, the L/A Nordiques' offense had a big night, peppering Northeast with 40 shots throughout the game. The L/A Nordiques took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Cole Ouellette.

Cole Ouellette delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Caleb Labrie chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

In the first period, Chauvin opened the scoring for L/A with a goal at 13:32 with a helper from his teammate Kennedy. Rudek quickly followed with a goal at 14:27 with helpers from Kisielis and Lopaev. Plummer quickly followed with a goal at 16:12 with an assist from defenseman Chauvin.

During the second, Ouellette netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 7:20 with helpers from Labrie and Chauvin. Marcola quickly followed with a goal at 8:15. Labrie answered for L/A with a goal at 14:04 with assists from Mccormick and Tehan.

During the third, Ouellette deposited a goal at 7:47 with helpers from Chauvin and Audette. Labrie netted a goal at 17:31 with assists from Ouellette and Chauvin.

The Nordiques’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Broda’s big night as he stopped 0 of the 0 shots he faced. Broda’s counterpart, Souza, also had a big night, managing to stop 34 of 40, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the L/A Nordiques’ record to (28-10-2-1).
