The Nordiques defeat the Generals 4-3

The L/A Nordiques' offense had a big night, peppering the Northeast Generals with 49 shots throughout the game. The L/A Nordiques took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Joshua Malone.

Cole Ouellette contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Joshua Sanchez chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Lopaev opened the scoring for Northeast with a goal at 2:21 with a helper from his linemate Figueroa. Ouellette answered for L/A with a goal at 6:37 with helpers from Sanchez and Mccormick. Ogle quickly followed with a goal at 7:10 with assists from his linemates, Mullen and Audette.

In the second period, Sanchez put in a goal at 7:25 with helpers from Ouellette and Chauvin. Malone scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:31 with assists from his teammates O’keefe and Bisson.

During the third, Faia answered for Northeast with a goal at 4:50. Couture quickly followed with a goal at 5:06 with a helper from his defensive partner, Fuller.

The Nordiques’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Errico’s big night as he stopped 31 of the 34 shots he faced. Errico’s counterpart, Sesock, also had a big night, managing to stop 45 of 49, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the L/A Nordiques’ record to (2-1-0-0).
