The L/A Nordiques' offense had a big night, peppering the Long Beach Sharks with 48 shots throughout the game, to go along with Carson Bonk's shutout. The L/A Nordiques took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Cole Ouellette and never looked back.
Clifford Ogle had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 goals and Jp Chauvin delivered for his team with 2 assists.
During the first, Ouellette opened the scoring for L/A with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 6:41 with helpers from Malone and Chauvin.
In the second, Crawley deposited a goal at 10:47 with an assist from Secor. Ogle netted a goal at 15:38 with helpers from teammates Tehan and Frechette. Audette put in a goal at 19:55.
In the third period, Ogle scored a goal at 13:33 with assists from Chauvin and Sullivan.
L/A’S victory was in no doubt helped out by Bonk’s shutout, as he stopped all 21 of the shots he faced. Bonk’s counterpart, Cortez, also had a big night, managing to stop 43 of 48, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the L/A Nordiques’ record to (12-3-0-0).
